I've seen School Of Rock twice now - once in the cinema, once at home, and both times I was blubbing like a baby at the end - I am helpless in the face of that film

I wanted to like it, but I just didn't Jack Black annoys the living crap out of me. Which may account for my opinion of the film.

I fail to see how anyone can be grumpy in the face of that film. Maybe he experienced child/rock related trauma in his youth. Ever have an over-friendly music teacher Richie?

Ooh, I've got my eye on that new Heat: Special Edition dvd. Awesome movie...
I'm also about to spend all of my pocket money for the remainder of the year on a signed vintage Ghostbuster poster that I've found on ebay...

this week: Life and Death of Peter Sellers - hilarious, yet quite sad. Great to watch even if (like me) you've only ever seen bits of pink panther films La Haine - haunting black+white french film about urban decay, racism, and police brutality. Good for a romantic night in, or get some mates, popcorn and beer in...or maybe not. coming up in the next week or so: Etre et Avoir - documentary about a french school Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain Taxi - mental Luc Besson flick Banlieue XIII Man Bites Dog - french mockumentary about the exploits of a serial killer anyone would think I have some french exams coming up...
