Man, Saturday night was a lot of hot and sweaty fun. Ta to all who turned up and braved the rather moist atmosphere of the Louey - it's been a long time since we've played there and I think we'd all forgotten what a fucking superb venue it is. The sound was fantastic onstage (a rarity) and the crowd was just plain brill, which all adds up to us having a hell of a blast up there. Most fun we've had in ages. Great to see Pitchblend for the first time in a LONG time (and yes, they are still great) and Souls for the first time (and lo and behold, they are a fine band too - always a pleasure to see a band who've actually got the right idea about rocking out - again, a rarity). Rock, and indeed Roll.

Great pics, Baz. Thanks for that I think that certainly shows that I had a great night ;D I woke up when that cup of coffee (that had spectacularly failed to keep me awake) tipped over my crotch. I guess I deserved that. Rock'n'roll!

Great set list... so gutted I could not make it and get tickets in time Although... I like to think you didn't play Pay to Play/Gas Giant because of the absence of Mike and I... Get your asses to London again very soon... failing that, Essex at least..

Wel, it was the first night of the Fony tour last night at The Joiners in Southampton, and it's great to finally get this show on the road, so to speak. Relieved to discover that Fony are a great band who bring the rock in fine style, and an amiable bunch to boot - great company is going to make the next couple of weeks all the better, and the bar has been set pretty damn high if we're going to blow these boys off the stage every night. Won't stop us trying, of course Gig was great, as is always the case at The Joiners - great PA and a good soundman goes a long way. Hi and ta to all who attended, particularly those who bought CDs and stuff - you contributed to the diesel that got us home - hope you enjoy your purchases Dressing room graffiti of the day: "MAMMOTH BELL"

Thanks to everyone who's come out to one of the Fony/LSB gigs on the tour so far, and apologies to anyone who turned up to the Studio Bar at Merthyr Tydfil on Sunday. Both bands arrived at the stated load-in time but unfortunately the promoter didn't show up and was not answering his phone, so in the end (after much waiting around) we had no choice but to head home. For anyone who doesn't check the gig list on the first page of this thread very often, the gig in Hull this Thursday has been cancelled, again for reasons beyond our control. Sorry The full current gig list now looks like this: 09/05 - Sugarmill, Stoke-on-Trent (supporting Fony) 10/05 - Retro Bar, Manchester (supporting Fony) 11/05 - CANCELLED 12/05 - Corner Room, Oxford (supporting Fony) 13/05 - Civic, Mexborough (supporting Fony) 14/05 - New Bergeracs, Bolton (supporting Fony) 18/05 - The Wunderbar, Midsomer Norton 19/05 - Civic, Gloucester (supporting Fony) 26/05 - First Floor, Derby (Burkina Faso charity gig) 27/05 - Harlequin, Redhill (supporting Fony) 30/05 - The Croft, Bristol 03/06 - Stringbendys, Eastbourne 17/06 - Jubilee Hall, Amersham (supporting Fony)
