I gotta say I fancy my chances of tanning everybody's arse on Mario Kart Wii... as long as I get a nunchuck and not a steering wheel....

OK, two things:
1) You could never beat my podgy bearded green ass at this game. 2) Real men use the wheel.
Lucky for you we can't get a WiFi signal here ;P

2) Real men use the wheel. Real men stay true to the sheer brilliance that was the N64 Mario Kart

That takes me back to the days when LSB all lived in the same house, and we spent all of our time playing N64, watching the wrestling, and heroically abusing ourselves. My liver is hurting at the thought. In fact, apart from the wrestling, that sounds very much like we spent the last two weeks

Well, we're back in the real world again now, and the first preliminary mix of one track 'The Gift That Keeps On Giving' has arrived in the email for our digestion and comments. What with it still only being a few days since we were right in the thick of it, it's still really hard to have any kind of objective viewpoint on it, but one thing that I can tell is that it sounds good, and it sounds big, which must be a good starting point, right? Now we begin the process of reviewing, commenting, tweaking, re-listening, re-commenting etc before it arrives at the end of it's mixing and mastering journey, sounding like it's meant to. Looking forward to getting it on the stereo tonight for a proper going over.

Nice try Unfortunately, due to the unbelievable amount of faffing around that has to be done before it actually hits the shops, the record probably won't be out until the arse end of this year, but when it does, we'll no doubt be doing the customary launch gig in Bristol and then hitting the road to bring it to the 'masses'. In the meantime, there should be the odd gig over the summer to keep us excited and give the new songs a run out... watch this (my)space.
