On my tiny (but much-loved) mp3 player is:
Jimmy Eat World - Futures Helmet - Size Matters A few Oceansize songs Awesome new album tracks from an amazing local band called Blueneck.
In my stereo at home I have some Bob Mould and The Best of The Clash. In the car this morning it was the mighty Supergrass.
Oh, and Ry played me the Isis album last night. Jesus, that sounds like an incredible LP. That's next on my shopping list.

Last night I was savouring the perfection of 'Powerage' by AC/DC, swiftly followed by 'We Sweat Blood' by Danko Jones. I am also looking forward to: The new Fu Manchu album 'Start The Machine' Having a listen to Ry's Isis CD Have just got some huge new shelves for my CDs, so I am planning some serious trawling through the depths of my collection in the coming weeks... watch this space for the gems I will be unearthing

...and it was on my CD player at home - none of that technical gimmickry for me (not out of any kind of technophobia, just because I am completely brassic ). Oh yeah, and the Fraggle Rock LP got a spin this week too - quality.

Further to my earlier post about how I was looking forward to hearing the Isis album.... I woke up this morning after an evening at Ryan's house sporting a massive hangover, and with the new found knowledge that the Isis album is indeed a pretty incredible listen. In fact, it's one of the last things I remember before waking up on my sofa with the remains of a kebab. I guess i'm going to have to buy it too. Awesome.
If you want to track it down, its the new one called 'Panopticon'.

Other than the sound of the chorus of Müf's 5/8 Monster that I can't get out of my head I've been listening to a couple of leaked tracks off Bloc Party's new album *ahem* , the best of The Vapors and The Who.
Hmmm... I'm going all indy.

Okay... trade off: I'll get those BC albums copied for you tonight, if ye can burn me a copy of the new Mercury Rev. (not that I would condone piracy of any kind... apart from the Muppet Treasure Island kind, obviously)
I'm assuming MR album is good, yeah?
