Steve Harmison: "For the past few years, the tall Durham paceman has been seen as the candidate to eventually take over from Darren Gough as England's premier strike bowler. He finally announced his arrival in top-flight cricket during the 2004 tour of the West Indies, after battling his way through injury problems and spates of self-doubt. He devastated the home side in the series with 23 wickets at a stunning average of 14.87, which included a brutal spell of 7-12 — ground record for Jamaica. Harmison had always been regarded as someone with natural bowling gifts and very fast, but one who had failed to turn his potential into consistent performances at the highest level. Adding to his problems were a series of niggling injuries — including somehow dislocating his shoulder when he caught his hand in the pocket of his trouser while bowling. But then captain Nasser Hussain stuck by his man, and now, Harmison seems to have a good Test future ahead and could become one of England's bowling greats." ... G dislocated his arm in a similar way recently
