We're sorry to have to announce that we've had to pull out of tomorrow night's gig at Turnmills in London because of an illness within the band. We are thoroughly gutted at having to take this step and we would have taken any alternative option if there had been one. As things stand, we still intend to play the gigs in Coventry on Thursday and in Aberystwyth on Saturday. Huge apologies to everyone who was planning on coming out to see LSB tomorrow. We will try to reschedule as soon as possible. LSB

Get well soon whoever is ill. It would be really disappointing if the Aber gig got cancelled again.

As far as we're all concerned, the Aber gig is very much on. We all expect G's throat to have reduced down to normal size in the next few days.

Well thanks for the kind wishes etc folks, as you will now know, we managed to steamroller Aberystwyth in fine style with the able assistance of Baz, who manfully stepped up and belted out Clout and Charge on my behalf like the vocal behemoth that he truly is We had a total fucking blast, hope everyone else did too....

Open air (ish) aber:
hey guys, still up for another gig in aber at the end of May? i'm still waiting to hear from the various official channels about the hire of the bandstand, but I'm pretty sure it'll be going ahead on Saturday May 28th - so keep it clear in your diaries!
we're hoping to put together a bill of as many bands as it's humanly possible to fit in during one day - no idea how it'll work as yet, but we'll get some bbq type munch in, and a load of beers, and have a damn good time!
I'll let you know when I know more about it

Entertaining the masses down by the pier....we'll be following in the footsteps of the greats! Cannon & Ball.... Hale & Pace..... Freddie Starr..... Danny La Rue..... Jim Davidson..... it truly is an honour ;D
For this occasion, Sads will be dressing as Widow Twanky, Oli will be Cinderella, Ryan will be sweating it out as Buttons, and in reflection of my bank balance, I will be Baron Hardup.

Unfortunately, the LSB / GU Medicine date in Doncaster on 31st March has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control.
Big apologies to anyone who was planning on coming down.

2 dates to go on the Left Side Brain vs GU Medicine tour and I had to log on to tell you all how fucking good GU Medicine are - shitting crikey those boys know how to throw down the riffage - witnessing their live show is like being trampled by a herd of wildebeest, in the best possible way, and 'Right Time' is a piece of super-rocking genius - go and search through your old Rock Sound cover CDs and give this gem a blast, love it, then buy the GU Medicine album, as I am going to this week, for it is brill. Still 2 chances to come and check us out with the 'Medicine - miss it at your peril etc

I second that.
GU rock harder than a gigantic medieval trebuchet.
