Atreyu "The Curse". It's much better than their nice hair and stylish clothes would make you think...

Today has been brought to you by the mighty, mighty album 'Terria' by Devin Townsend, which is good enough to make you wonder why he's not grinning out from the shelves of WHSmiths instead of Bert frick'n McCrackerty.
I *think* I saw a video last night in which Devin was cameoing conducting a choir, or was that my imagination?
P.S. Dunk - making up ficticious bands is neither big nor clever.

Today I am FINALLY listening to the new Fu Manchu album 'Start The Machine'. 3 listens in and it is sounding great. Rolling grooves and guitars so fuzzed out that they sound like a giant playing a 20ft paper and comb You know when some bands can just do no wrong in your eyes? Fu Manchu are that band for me - their devotion to simply rocking as hard as they can with the fattest sound they can muster is reason enough for you to check them out. If you fancy investing, i'd recommend 'The Action Is Go' as a phenomenal starting point - it could well be the most rocking CD in my collection. Happy ;D

OK, so last night me and Ry ended up very VERY wasted and slapping Kerbdog's 'On The Turn' on the decks for what seemed like the first time in a LONG time, and had something akin to a religious experience, concluding that it may well be the best record that we own. We *were* mega bladdered, but then it *is* one hell of a record too ;D

yes, i've been thinking about putting "on the turn" back into my cd player for awhile now. it's a fantastic slab of rock!
i'm just about to leave work and go buy the new "open hand" album called "you and me" i believe, saw there video for "tough girl" on scuzz tv the other week, guitar work had a nice cross between qotsa and fu manchu. so i'll let you all know how that works out.
also listening to the pre-dowloaded version of qotsa's new album, which has some storming tracks on it!
Rich your Chevelle CDs are ready guna send 'em soon, been so over worked i forgot to send them. i'll try and spin a copy of the new qotsa cd as well.
