Today's listening album: Junkie XL - Saturday Teenage Kick
Anyone heard this? Everyone i've played it to has been totally nonplussed, but I love it to bits.

In fact, I had it on this morning and Amy turned it off while I was out of the room - I asked why she'd turned it off and the answer was "because it was shit".

I tend to like bad but enthusiastic dance music, so maybe you can try it out on me.
Oh, and if it really does have a Sugar sample, I may be won over very quickly....

I am currently attempting unsuccessfully to identify the tune that has inexplicably set up camp in my brain for the day. Its a current track by some band that I don't have any records by (I think) and the lyrics *sound* something like "turn me on and turn me on and turn me on and (I have become bla bla bla-fied)" and the final section may well sound like "turn me on and turn me on and turn me on and turn me on and turn me on and turn me on and turn me on and turn me on and turn me on and turn me on and turn me on and turn me on" or something that sounds similar. I have not yet decided whether I like it or not - maybe if I could find out if its a cool band or not that could help my decision Anyone got any idea what i'm on about?

It's called 'Alive and Amplified' and it's by The Mooney Suzuki. It's also utterly awesome.
I love that song... it's all over MTV2 at the moment.

The singer also busts one of those ace flat caps with a bright orange woolen bobble on top...
He has my vote.

Of course! I knew that. Well, I did at some point in the last few weeks. It's got that crazy psychedelic video that looks like Spinal Tap's video for 'The Flower People', hasn't it? I have reviewed my feelings on this track and it gets a resounding 'THUMBS ALOFT' from me.

Aye, it's a great video. Lots of bubbling magma.
It's got something for everyone, aside from jujitsu.

It's all this talk of magma that's done it, y'know.
