Hey folks, Just checking in with the latest on my listening habits - things are on a bit of an eclectic tip these days as I try to steer clear of stuff that's going to influence my writing too much for the new album....
At the moment I am (thanks to Rich's marvellous generosity) getting into the Eels. I have so far devoured the Souljacker and Shootenanny! albums and am very much looking forward to getting my mitts on the new one - they're like Weezer's lo-fi and cynical as hell older brother and right now they are doing the business for me in fine style.

Skindred.... are they STILL waiting to release their second album? They seem to have taken a hell of a long time in getting round to it...

Currently being given a masterful lesson in singing, courtesy of:
Novocaine: Frustration No. 10 Novocaine: Nervous Disposition
Next time I find myself playing the Dream Band Lineup Game its going to have to be Steve Evans of Novocaine on vocals - "Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhwwwwwwwww yessssss-uh...." I think he just might be my favourite singer.
