Velvet Revolver and the new Dizzee Rascal album. I know, I'm about the last person in the world to get the Velvet Revolver album aren't I?

Nope, there's still me left to get it.
I think that latest single (and the video, particularly) are just embarassing... But y'all seem to rate the album, so maybe I should pilfer Oli's copy.
I'm saving me pennies for the new Elliott Smith album....

They rigged up a ouija board to a bon tempi organ.
Nah, he had almost completed the album when he <gulp> stabbed himself through the heart. As you do.

Ouch.
(I only knew that because I was at an acoustic night last week and someone played one of his songs as a tribute.)

Enough of this folky whimsy.
I am currently rocking the album 'WE SWEAT BLOOD' by the quite awesome DANKO JONES. Rock. Very pure and exceptionally simple. If it doesn't get your arse moving, then I recommend that you check for your pulse.

On the folk whimsy front I am now finally listening to the new Elliott Smith.
Also, Nada Surf's Let Go, which is pure Californian sunshine brilliance.

Aye, I like 'Polar Bear'. Best song about a bear since... err, well... the last one.

i have to say, polar bear, took me awhile to get into it, at first i wasn't to keen, till i listened to the full song and heard the amazing build up towards the end! still love NANE, it's an amazing album! i got the live Therapy DVD last week, and to this day i have watched it coutless times! it's so cool, especially the backstage footage, really funny Andy: while we're being honest lads, i can't acctually play guitar! priceless! also listening to Rival Schools, Filter and "Big Band Theory" by LSB Neal
